I happened to watch Shrek-Forever After
and I must tell you that the experience was simply mind boggling. The reason: I checked out a new multiplex with all the new 3d surround sound and all effects that make a movie consummate. The first warning in the theatre read: this is a very short movie and has no intervals!!( So go grab your popcorns) . This version of shrek I would rate it as the best than the prior versions. This time he is not only an ogre, but has a wonderful family, with a lovely wife and 3 kids. He feels his life is a way too perfect and good . thus he signs a contract with Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn)to go back to any of his ogre days where he used to have complete fun . Rumpelstiltskin cruelly changes this date to be his date of birth so that he never rescues fiona. He doesn’t have his friends, he has lost his family. Meanwhile Rumpelstiltskin has taken over the empire and thus shrek s challenge is to make true love with Fiona before he can call it a day.The stunts involved are simply hilarious and the dialogues of donkey and Puss in the boots keep you laughing all time. A true Entertainer..
