Why won't the counter viewpoint push my apparent sketch?Chris brown got a chance to pay tribute to the legend of pop, MJ, and I must say it was mind-blowing. Dressed in blue shirt,black slacks, and MJ’s trademark loafers were just a perfect way to personify the great legend. The look resembled that of MJ’s 1988 Emmy awards performance(Wow I still remember it!) The performance started with “The way you make me feel” and then to “billie jean”. Chris’s moves included the famous moonwalk and the pop which the king of pop had simply mastered. There was complete justice. The performance became touchy when Chris was singing “Man in the Mirror” and began choking as he burst into tears. An absolute tribute from the heart I must say. The awards last year came right after Jacksons death and so could not pay a tribute, but this year they have chosen the correct person and he’s done a great job

I know this incident might be useful to my readers and hence I m here to explain it you. I had a problem in seeing things and hence my friend referred me to an optometric doctor. He said that my vision was failing and I needed some spectacles to enable better viewing. The doctor said I had a power of -1.5. I had to wear specs, something which I used to dread about. Second Life

My last blog on virtual world was on club penguin. This time around it’s something for us. An interactive virtual 3d world where in you can choose yourselves to be special characters and live in a cool world! Crazy uh? There is interaction between various avatars and we can even chat with them. All this in a virtual 3D world. Great stuff! Developed in Linden lab, this game is something which everyone looks forward to. The uncertainty in the virtual world is cleverly balanced and the ambience is simply mind-blowing. The developers have put in painstaking effort to see to it that every pixel in every shot keeps changing and the picture we get is of very high resolution. One expects to see all that he/she misses in the real world. A great concept developed with great ideas. A lot of work put into it and a great place to be when the real world is boring!!

Chimpanzee warfare

Have you ever wondered if other species, apart from the human race participate in war? Well there have been wars by predators in search of food, but the story which I m gonna narrate is by chimpanzee s, that too very mature ones. A research is going on in Kibale National Park,Uganda where in a group of scientists have been working on chimps for the past ten years. Now this is how it all goes about the war thing – The chimps behave normal for around 10 -15 days and all of a sudden they get ready for a war. They move to the edge of their territory and ambush on any enemy that comes within. If it’s a male chimp from the other community, then it’s attacked and killed. Women chimps are sparred but their children fall prey to this barbarism. They do this until the whole area is annexed and the chimp community spread around the whole area. This gives them more space to expand. The underlying thing to note here is that, the chimps are killing other groups in want of space, space which we humans have taken up for so called urbanization. These poor creatures have shown great insight for their future generations, but this deadly idea shouldn’t prevail among all animals. Or else it’s Game over for all species.

Some great food tips

We are surrounded by food and most of us “generation X” have become addicted to junk food. May it be the tasty pizzas or the cheesy burger we would love to have it 365 x 24 x 7. But as we move on by eating all this we are committing a serious danger to ourselves. The human body, gets greased by eating such unhealthy food and we tend to fall prey to many diseases. And hence we must take care of ourselves . This can be done by eating some good food and having a well balanced meal. I don’t expect anyone of us to eat nutritious food everyday but then we got to make a practice of eating them at least 3-4 times a week. Moreover cutting down junk food also would help us in a long way. I m telling you this because one of my friends became obese after eating such junk fast foods. It became extremely difficult for her to regain her health and she had to undergo bariatric surgery diet where in she got some great diet. She reduced in a week and was thankful as the diets were nutritious and tasty. I would suggest bariatric surgery diet to all my friends who having problems controlling their diet.

I love these virtual games. My son’s latest craze is club penguin; I know most of your kids must have already played this. Well for those who haven’t here is a small briefing: Club penguin is an online role playing game (multiplayer) and is developed by club penguin entertainment. The games pretty simple: You pick on an avatar and play in winter cold conditions. It’s so user friendly and most of the kids simply enjoy the game. It’s built for ages 6-14. FIFA kick-off concert

I m a very lucky person. I m saying this because I witnessed one of the greatest and best events going on in the world right now.. Any guesses? Yes you’re right; it’s the FIFA world cup. I arrived in Johannesburg a couple of weeks back and my friend here, Kylie had made some great arrangements for me. The whole country of South Africa was filled with such an electrifying buzz. I was simply thrilled as the countdown to the matches begun. My friend, a local here managed to get these coveted concert tickets, and i extremely happy to be a  spectator to such a great event. As an American, I have been to many concerts ,but this one was very special. Although I knew only 4-5 football stars(I m a girl so you can forgive me on this), it did not prevent me from enjoying the first few days at this spectacular venue. The concert was simply mind blowing!!The list of performers included Alicia keys, Amadou and Mariam, Black eyed peas, BLK JKS,John Legend,K’naan, Shakira and many many more. The atmosphere, as you all must have watched it was buzzing with the million teenagers and other fans, officials of FIFA. The show very well organized came to an end with all singers giving a united performance of “Everyday people”. Truly a night to remember..Once in a lifetime experience.

Get a strike with a fuzzy decorative dice Have you ever written a dairy? I have always fantasized writing diaries. You can write all that has happened to you – good, bad or ugly. They actually act like your best friend who just listens to all the crap that you have to say. May be you can call it your dump storage of feelings. Actually it helps a lot to sort out your feelings. After pouring all that was deep inside your heart, you do feel light and fresh again. Maybe that’s the reason why many like speaking to god. Don’t you think he is also similar to our diary? Sometimes our memory might not help us enough in remembering the fun filled times, but a diary sure here helps to refresh our memory. Travelers’ always carry a diary with them to record all the adventures faced during their journey. This sure helps them to revive their experience again. Chocolate

All say ‘Pearls are women’s best friend’, but more than pearls there is something that every girl craves for.. And that is chocolates. Pride and Prejudice

Prejudice, love, pride, ego or characterization, which one of these defines this beautiful novel written by Jane Austen. Even after so many years, this novel has always retained the special place in all novel readers minds. What is it that has made this simple book so special? Was it the love story of Darcy and Lizzie full of prejudice or the beautiful characterization that builds the enticing plot of the novel or was it the pride and intelligence of Elizabeth. When the novels opens with the statement as so “It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” you can be all assured that the book will live up to its expectations. The dialogue of Elizabeth to Mr Darcy’s proposal – “You are the only person who can tell me you love me and also insult me at the same time” and the dialogue “My feelings towards you is still unchanged” illustrates the undaunting love Darcy had. Many Hollywood writers have failed to recreate the magic that the novel created in our minds. Many love stories be written but this love story will always remain close to all..!!!!
